Dyslexia Screening

A masked educator at a classroom desk conducts a one-on-one dyslexia screening session with a child in a blue hoodie, pointing at papers amid typical school supplies.

Do you suspect your child is having difficulty reading in school? Are they resistant to reading and writing? Do they read slower than expected?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, contact us today to learn more about our dyslexia screening services.

Private Tutoring

A student in a SpongeBob hoodie practices writing “I love reading” on a small whiteboard under the guidance of a tutor in a private, one-on-one session focused on structured, multisensory reading and writing instruction.

We provide personalized, one-on-one instruction to children in need. Our expert tutors are rigorously trained and certified in a research based reading program, ensuring a structured and effective, multisensory approach to improving reading and writing skills. Including Orton-Gillingham and Handwriting Tutoring.

Teacher Certification

A trainer points at a projected slide on Orton-Gillingham certification while three teachers sit and listen.

Individual teachers are invited to apply for an Orton-Gillingham training and certification scholarship. In return for this scholarship, teachers will provide 55 hours of free tutoring to a child that otherwise would not be able to afford this service.

Parent Training

We offer individual parent training sessions to help you support your child’s reading and writing development at home with confidence. Led by certified literacy specialists, these one-on-one sessions are tailored to your child’s specific needs and your goals as a parent.

Raising Hands tutors are certified in the structured literacy program, Orton-Gillingham through the Institute for Multisensory Education (IMSE). To learn more, please visit the the links below:
